On September 30, 2025, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich proudly reopened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Rebecca S. Breed Clubhouse. More than 250 guests, including donors, elected officials, alumni, community partners, and families, gathered to celebrate the milestone and tour the expanded facility.

The Rebecca S. Breed Clubhouse expansion and renovation marks a new era for the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich, providing modern spaces and resources to better serve the young people who call the Club their second home each year.

BGCG is proud to announce the public launch of our Building Great Futures capital campaign to renovate and expand the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich Clubhouse. As part of this transformational effort, we are honored to share that our renovated facility will be named the Rebecca S. Breed Clubhouse, in recognition of Rebecca’s decades of extraordinary leadership, dedication, and love for the Club and its members.

As part of the expansion and renovation project, a special beam signing event invited participants to write their names on a structural beam. This beam now proudly stands as part of the frame of the Club’s soon-to-be gymnasium, a centerpiece of the expanded facility.

The exciting transformation of the Clubhouse space is well underway.

On October 23, 2023 Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, the Greenwich delegation joined BGCG staff to break ground on the expansion and renovation of the BGCG Clubhouse.
