PLEASE NOTE: Due to the renovation of the Clubhouse, many program offerings are modified or currently on hold.

Who may join the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich?
Any boy or girl between the ages of 6 –18 years old who lives in Greenwich, attends an independent school in Greenwich, or whose parent works in Greenwich.

How much does it cost?
Annual membership is $75 per person.

How do boys and girls join?
A full description about membership can be found here. Parents are asked to complete an online membership application, which includes online payment. Call 203-869-3224 for details. PLEASE NOTE: Membership does not guarantee placement in the after-school program during the 2023-2024 school year.

What can boys and girls do at the Club?
Each day we have a variety of fun activities and programs ranging from sports training, educational enrichment and support, arts and crafts and more. Please click on the What We Do link for more information.

How can boys and girls sign up for programs/activities?
Boys and girls wanting to participate in programs and activities must be Boys & Girls Club members. Once they are a member, most programs and activities are drop-in and do not require advance registration. If a program or activity does require registration, program registration is available online and are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

Is transportation provided?
Yes, during the school year school buses from Cos Cob, Glenville, Greenwich High School, Hamilton Avenue, International School at Dundee, Julian Curtiss, New Lebanon, North Mianus, North Street, Parkway, Riverside, Western, Eastern, and Central Middle School drop children off at the Club after school. During the summer camp season, transportation is not provided.

Do you serve meals?
While we do not provide meals during the school year, we do provide a healthy snack every day. During the summer, we offer hamburgers and hot dogs for a reasonable fee at Camp Simmons each day and at Clubhouse Camp on Fridays. We also provide campers with snacks, often from our own garden.

When is the Club open?
The Club is open year-round. During the school year, we’re open Monday – Friday, after school until 6:00 p.m. for all members, and until 8:00 p.m. for registered programs. During school vacation days, we’re open from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
During the summer, we’re open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.*

What is your closing policy?
BGCG follows the emergency closing procedures of Greenwich Public Schools. If schools are closed due to inclement weather, or safety-related issues, the Club is closed as well.

Where is the Club?
The Club is located at 4 Horseneck Lane in central Greenwich. Camp Simmons is our 77-acre property at 744 Lake Avenue in backcountry Greenwich.
