Training for Summer Camp Employees
Thursday, June 6 from 6:00-7:30pm at St. Roch 
Thursday, June 13 from 6:30-7:30pm at Camp Simmons

Training for Summer Camp Minor Employees 
Thursday, June 20 from 4:00-8:00pm at Greenwich Library

  • Part time employees in these positions are responsible for assisting in organization, supervision, and implementation of After School Care for elementary or middle school aged youth in accordance with safety standards set forth by the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich between the hours 3:00-6:00pm Monday-Friday.

  • A counselor works closely with a small team to supervise a group of up to 25 youth ranging in age from 6-12 years-old. Ensures a fun, safe, and positive camp experience for campers. A counselor manages behavior issues, plans activities, and participates in all Camp activities while promoting positive character development. Camp counselors are the center of the camper’s experience and should be comfortable working with youth and being a role model at all times.

  • The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible to cover the front desk and provide clerical and administrative support to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player and multi-tasker who enjoys being around youth of all ages.

  • A lifeguard is responsible for supervision, control, and safety in and around the swimming pool during all programs. In addition, a lifeguard should possess a high degree of safety consciousness accompanied by a mature understanding that his/her primary objective should be the prevention of accidents.
