Part-time Swim Team Coach

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The following tasks are essential for this position.

  • Designs, organizes, executes and maintain workout programs for competitive swim team of various levels of technique and ages.
  • Creates line ups for swim meets and attends Fairfield County Westchester Swim League meetings and updates BGCG staff and parents as needed.
  • Maintains attendance and other related operations and payment records, prepares parent communications for distribution.
  • Responds to questions and inquiries from parents or community members in a professional manner.
  • Assists in training and participating in various lifeguard certifications, swim lessons, etc
  • Communicates with VP of Programming and Aquatic Staff meet information and any supplies or needs of the team.
  • Completes any required report after witnessing or providing assistance/care for any/all situations.
  • Coach may/will work irregular schedule including evenings and weekends during the peak season of September through March.
  • Guards on deck as needed.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

JOB DETAILS

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

4 hour shift

Evening shift

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed
