Front Desk Receptionist (Part-time)
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible to cover the front desk and provide clerical and administrative support to the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player and multi-tasker who enjoys being around youth of all ages.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome all staff/members/visitors as soon as they arrive
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and other employees, both verbally and in writing
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in a professional manner
- Ensure that front desk entryway is tidy and presentable, equipment is in good working order and with all necessary materials
- Sign members in and out as they enter and leave the building
- Answer questions pertaining to membership, registration, and programs
- Assist with membership applications, registration, mail, and general organization as directed by designated Club staff
- Adhere to and uphold all Club and Member rules and policies
- Adhere to, promote, and represent the Club’s Mission, Core Values, and Code of Ethics
- Responsible for office equipment in front lobby area
- Maintain cleanliness and decoration of front lobby
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to operate phones, email, Word, Excel, and basic database entry programs
- Positive customer service interactions
- AA degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Spanish language speaker
- Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention
- Sufficient strength, agility, and mobility to perform essential functions of the position

- Follow safety procedures
Front Desk Receptionist will work 5 days per week Monday through Friday, from 12:00 – 5:00PM.
Hourly range is $15 - $20 per hour
