With our fully renovated Clubhouse ready to welcome members, the Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich is seeking passionate, dedicated individuals to join our team. We have openings for Youth Development Professionals during after-school hours, as well as opportunities in the early morning, evening, and weekends.

We are currently hiring for both volunteer and limited pay positions across a variety of program areas. Whether you're looking to contribute your time, gain experience, or take on a meaningful part-time role, we welcome individuals who are enthusiastic about youth development, community engagement, and teamwork.
After-School Youth Development Professional
Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:00pm
Part time employees in these positions are responsible for assisting in organization, supervision, and implementation of After-School Program for elementary or middle school aged youth in accordance with safety standards set forth by Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich between the hours 2:00-6:00pm Monday-Friday.
Pay range is minimum wage up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Athletic Staff
Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:00pm
Organize and teach the members age specific activities in our gym or field house. Work with our Athletic Coordinators to make sure all members are included in a positive way to live healthy and active lives. Introduce members to new sports where it challenges them mentally and physically.
Pay range is minimum wage up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Front Desk Staff
Select weekdays and weekends, varied hours
Greet members, parents, and visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer phones, check in members, and provide information about programs and events. Assist with administrative tasks as needed. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a busy environment.
Pay $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience
Lifeguard
Varied hours for Programs which include early am, mid-day, afternoon and some evenings or weekends.
A lifeguard is responsible for supervision, control, and safety in and around the swimming pool during all programs. In addition, a lifeguard should possess a high degree of safety consciousness accompanied by a mature understanding that his/her primary objective should be the prevention of accidents. Supervise swimmers to ensure safety and enforce pool rules.
Respond quickly and effectively in emergencies, providing First Aid, AED, or CPR as needed. Maintain a clean, safe pool environment and assist with aquatic activities when necessary. Must have current American Red Cross lifeguard certification - American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, AED preferred.
Starting salary is $18.00 per hour and up based on experience and certifications –
Swim Lesson Instructor
Select weekdays and weekends, varied hours
Teach swimming lessons to members of all ages and skill levels, following safety guidelines and established curriculum. Create a supportive and encouraging environment to help swimmers develop water confidence and improve technique. Work with the Aquatics Director to maintain a safe and engaging pool space. American Red Cross WSI preferred.
Pay $25.00 per hour and up based on experience and certifications.
Parking Lot Attendant
Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:30pm
Greet parents in the parking lot upon arrival and page members that their ride has arrived. Must have good communication skills, patience, and organizational skills. Fast paced environment that needs an individual who likes people and being outside. Must be 21 and older to apply.
Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Hallway Supervisor
Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:30pm
Help keep the members in their program areas, supervise the bathrooms and keep the hallways safe and quiet.
Pay range is minimum wage up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Rental Attendants
Select weekdays, evenings, and weekends, varied hours
Assist with setting up and monitoring facility rentals, including parties, meetings, and events. Ensure spaces are clean, safe, and ready for guests. Provide excellent customer service and address any needs during events. May include light cleaning and moving equipment or furniture.
Pay minimum wage up to $20.00 per hour based on experience
Food Services/Snack Attendant
Monday – Friday 2:00Pm -5:00PM
A food service attendant working after school typically helps with preparing and serving snacks to members, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, and ensuring food safety standards are followed. They may also assist with organizing supplies, restocking items, and interacting with members in a friendly and helpful manner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a supportive club community.
Pay minimum wage up to $20.00 per hour based on experience.
Group Exercise and Fitness Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Plan and lead age-appropriate group exercise classes that promote strength, endurance, and overall wellness. Introduce members to a variety of fitness activities in a fun, safe environment. Work with the Athletic Coordinator to help members set personal goals and develop healthy habits for life.
Pay $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Coding / Tech Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Lead hands-on technology programs, with a focus on LEGO robotics. Inspire curiosity and problem-solving skills while guiding members through building and coding projects. Potential to expand into drone technology and career exploration in tech fields. Work with the Education Director to create a safe, exciting space for innovation and learning.
Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Dance Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Teach engaging dance classes to members in multiple styles such as ballet, modern, and African dance. Create an inclusive environment where members can explore movement, build confidence, and develop technique. Work with the Program Director to choreograph performances and introduce members to new forms of creative expression.
Pay $18.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Sign Language Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Teach members the fundamentals of American Sign Language in a supportive, engaging environment. Introduce vocabulary, grammar, and Deaf culture while creating interactive activities that make learning fun. Work with the Education Director to integrate ASL into larger Club programs and promote inclusive communication.
Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on certifications and experience.
Visual Arts Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Lead painting and sculpture classes where members can explore creativity and develop artistic skills. Provide instruction in techniques, materials, and art history while encouraging self-expression. Work with the Arts Coordinator to prepare member artwork for displays and community events.
Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Yoga and Meditation Instructor
Select weekdays, 2:00–6:00pm
Guide members through yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness techniques to support physical flexibility, relaxation, and emotional well-being. Create a welcoming space for members of all skill levels and work with the Program Director to incorporate wellness into the daily routine.
Pay $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 16 years old, over 18 years of age preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics
• Proficient understanding of Microsoft and Google programs
• Ability to pass a background check
• Organized, reliable, hard-working, strong moral values
• Ability to work in an environment with youth
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, maintain positive demeanor with youth
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Noisy environments.
• Running or light exercise.
• Light work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
