BGCG Celebrates 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Feast

The aroma of a traditional Thanksgiving meal filled Christ Church Hall on Tuesday, November 26, as more than 250 Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich members and staff gathered for the Club’s 22nd annual Thanksgiving Feast. Though the Clubhouse is currently under renovation, the spirit of gratitude and community was stronger than ever at this cherished event.

The evening featured a delicious feast prepared by Aux Delices and served by a dedicated team of volunteers, including board members, and many local first responders, community members, and school principals. Their presence and involvement exemplified the deep community connections that make Greenwich a special place to live and grow.

“This feast is one of the most cherished traditions at the Club,” said Don Palmer, Vice President of Programs & Youth Development. “It’s a time for our members to come together as a family and experience the love and generosity of this incredible community. Seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces as they share this meal is what it’s all about.”

The event was made possible through the generosity of sponsors who share the Club’s commitment to supporting local youth: Sageview Capital, TD Securities, The Hilton Family, Titan Advisors, A&M Capital, Acme Markets, Axiom Investors, Creamer Landscaping & Lawn Care, Aux Delices, Stew Leonard’s, and BJ’s Wholesale.

“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors and volunteers for making this event a reality,” said Cristina Vittoria, CEO of Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich. “This feast is not just about the food, it’s about creating a sense of belonging and joy for our members. It’s wonderful to see so many people come together to support our kids during the holiday season.”

As the holiday season begins, events like the Thanksgiving Feast serve as a reminder of the Club’s enduring mission to create a safe, welcoming environment for Greenwich youth. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and the dedication of volunteers, this year’s feast was another resounding success, bringing joy and gratitude to all who attended.
