Ice Rink

At the Clubhouse we are able to operate and maintain our own ice rink during the months between October and March. We offer programs including beginner skate lessons to hockey leagues.

Learn to Skate Clinics

Clinics are for beginners and advanced skaters and are taught by skating professionals and assisted by Boys & Girls Club staff. Members will learn how to glide forward and backwards, swizzles, turns, snow plow stops and crossovers.

Schedules will be posted when the season begins.

Family Open Skate

Any member who would like to skate must be a current member of the Boys & Girls Club. Family members are encouraged to spend time with their child. This is for immediate family members only. Extended family members and cousins are not allowed to skate. Music will be played and refreshments are available for purchase.

Schedules will be posted when the season begins.

Mite Development Hockey League

This league will be made up of 4 teams of 13-16 players. Age groups for each league are ages 6-7 and ages 8-10. Each player will be placed on a team and coaches will emphasize participation and sportsmanship. The teams will be coached by volunteer parents who will be chosen by the BGCG hockey staff and who will ensure equal playing time and the opportunity to play all 6 positions, including goalie (goalie equipment will be available for those who want to try goalie).

Schedules will be posted when the season begins.
