At the Clubhouse we are able to operate and maintain our own ice rink during the months between October and March. We offer programs including beginner skate lessons to hockey leagues.
Learn to Skate Clinics
Clinics are for beginners and advanced skaters and are taught by skating professionals and assisted by Boys & Girls Club staff. Members will learn how to glide forward and backwards, swizzles, turns, snow plow stops and crossovers.
Clinics begin the week of October 24 and run until December 19 for the first session.
Family Open Skate
Any member who would like to skate must be a current member of the Boys & Girls Club. Family members are encouraged to spend time with their child. This is for immediate family mambers only. Extended family members and cousins are not allowed to skate. Music will be played and refreshments are available for purchase. Begins October 23.
If you are interested in private lessons or joining our Junior Friends program, please contact Sukie McFadden at email@example.com or 203-869-3224 x103.
